You can contact us through our email info@gilmovers.com.pe or phone 989 513 266. Our staff will assist you and collect information about your request. After that, depending on the requirement, we will coordinate a face-to-face or virtual estimate of the goods to be considered.

In this estimate, the volume, and details to take into account in the international move will be known. Finally, we will send you our proposal.

The process of an international move will depend on various factors such as the country of destination, the selected transport (sea or air) and the volume/nature of the goods. The approximate time varies between 1 month to 3 months, for this reason, we recommend that you plan your move in advance to organize operational logistics optimally and avoid setbacks.

Our service includes the packing of your goods. We recommend that you only worry about selecting the goods that will be included in the move, since our professional team of packers will pack and repack (if applicable) your goods following national and international regulations for the correct export and protection of them.

There is no minimum volume to include in an international/national move. However, there are minimum costs that must be incurred regardless of the volume or nature of your goods. For this reason, we recommend planning in advance what items you would like to relocate and your budget for the complete international move.

Likewise, all household items and used personal effects can be considered within an international move. Consider that, if you want to send works of art, replicas of huacos such as ceramics or ornaments, among others, a special permit must be obtained from the National Institute of Culture (INC) that will authorize their export.

We recommend verifying that the furniture is clean, without food remains and dry, not damp. Likewise, we recommend separating leather objects and others prone to mold and drying them previously in a room with dehumidifying equipment. Our team will place absorpole bars that absorb moisture inside the containers depending on the volume and nature of the goods to avoid moisture on the transit until final delivery.

We pay special attention to furniture during the packing process and identify those that will require additional protection. For these high value/fragile items, a custom-made wooden crate or crate is made to increase their safety during the journey. In addition, we use special material and treated wood that meets international standards and the ISPM No. 15 seal.

Our goal is to make the process easier for you, so we take care of managing the customs procedures required for the export/import of your goods. Likewise, we will indicate the personal procedures that you must obtain so that the move complies with the established schedule. On the other hand, our strategic partner in the country of destination will provide you with the same customs service and guidance in obtaining documentation.
